QUETTA(PPI): Provincial government for the first time has undertaken appointment of 4500 teachers on merit in the provincial history. Inspite of criticisms from everywhere and demands of political parties government fulfilled picking up able teachers through NTS meeting people?s demand.
This was stated by Adviser on Education Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech while visiting Ayub Stadium during NTS test here Wednesday.
He said owing to positive steps of the present government performance of provincial departments was improving. Appointment of teachers in Balochistan has always been a matter of question mark but government in office preferred appointment on merit. People are satisfied over this step fo the government and its steps were being welcomed everywhere he added.
He directed NTS Officials not to allow candidates without original identity cards and secure thumb impression from NADRA so that fraud is stopped.
Earlier NTS Coordinator Muhammad Saleem Kurd informed the Adviser that papers are transported by private courier in a bid to ensure transparency and are sent back to Islamabad in the same way. There is no connection of NTS Officials in the papers. He said there is one invigilator for 30 candidates and one supervisor for five invigilators. He said after test, resolved papers copy is loaded on NTS website so that candidates can compare it with their solved papers and point out their mistakes themselves.
