Government declares NoC compulsory for workers

QUETTA(PPI): Home Department Government of Balochistan has made compulsory to obtain NoC for the workers.
According to Home Department notification the step has been taken following killing fo 20 workers in Turbat. Notification said it has been made compulsory for workers for development projects in Balochistan to obtain NoC from Home Department and contractors have to file details of their workers in the Home Department.
This is not first incident of killing of workers in the province. Last year armed men killed 8 workers in Abbas Goth of Lasbella. They belonged to Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh and different parts of Punjab. Labourers working on roads, bridges and educational institutions buildings including Cadet College Panjgur have also been targeted.
According to sources nearly 1500 labourers were working on 20 major projects in Balochistan.
