Customs makes 82 seizures worth 131 million

QUETTA(PPI): Model Customs Collectorate seized smuggled goods/vehicles valuing Rupees 131 million in 82 seizures during past one month.
This was stated by Deputy Collector Customs MCC Quetta Ehsanullah Shah at a Press conference here Thursday.
He said operation against smugglers was continuing with full vigour in collaboration with law enforcement agencies such as FC and police.
He said seized goods include 62 smuggled vehicles, huge quantity of auto engines, tyres, cloth, bicycle parts, cigarettes, generators, smuggled tibmer, 7 vehicles carrying smuggled goods, 50 thousand litres of smuggled diesel along with three oil tankers, 24 thousand litres of smuggled petrol and 2700 litres of smuggled mobil oil. He said these goods have been seized under Customs Act 1969 valuing Rupees 131 million.
