QUETTA(PPI): Balochistan assembly admitted two identical adjournment motions for two hours discussion on April 21.
MPA Engineer Zamrak Achakzai (ANP and Nasrullah Zerau (PMAP) said that Balochistan Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution on February 28 for building Gwadar-Kashgar Economic Corridor as originally planned and no diversion should be made there in.
It was stated that Corridor has already been inaugurated and it would be built as per revised plan. IN this Balochistan and Khyber Pahstoonkhwa provinces would be ignored completely. This would further deteriorate situation in the province.
They said through this motion a message should go to Chinese President who is visiting Pakistan on April 20 that Balochistan and Khyber Pahstoonkhwa provinces do not agree with change in the project.
Balochistan chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch did not oppose the motion and said that we have asked Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal to remove reservations of all the political parties, civil society and media. For some reasons he could not come to Quetta. It is now fixed May 6 to visit Quetta and brief us on the matter.
He added that we would keep details of Reko Diq project before the leaders and MPAs in a transparent manner. Present Government would go on according to aspirations of the people.
