Regional Inter-District U-19 Cricket Tourney gets underway today Quetta Region matches to be played in Quetta and Chaman cricket grounds

QUETTA: The Regional Inter-District Under-19 (Quetta Region) Two-Day Cricket Tournament 2015-2016 is scheduled to be inaugurated today (Wednesday) like other regions in the country.
The Quetta Region’s matches of the tournament are being played at three different venues including Bugti Cricket Stadium, Sadiq Cricket Ground Chaman and BUITEMS Cricket Ground Quetta.
The district teams falls in the Quetta Region are included: Quetta, Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Nushki, Kalat and Turbat.
Three opening matches in connection with the Regional Inter-District Under-19 Two-Day Cricket Tournament would be played from today.
In these matches, Quetta would play against Pishin at the Bugti Stadium, Killa Abdullah would face Nushki at Sadiq Ground Chaman and Kalat would meet Turbat in the BUITEMS Ground the same day.
Sultan Mehmood and Mumtaz Ali would supervise the Quetta-Pishin match as umpires with Tariq Faheem to be as the official scorer.
Aslam Barech and Hameed Khan would be the umpires for Killa Abdullah-Nushki match. Anwar Khilji would be the official scorer.
On the other hand, the Kalat-Turbat match would be supervised by K. Mahmood Junior and Hidayatullah. Muhammad Munawar would be the official scorer in the match.
Similarly, the Dera Murad Jamali region cricket matches would be played at the Shaheed Ghaffar Sayal Stadium Naseerabad.
In the matches of Dera Murad Jamali region, Naseerabad would play against Sibi in the opening match starting from today.
Naseerabad would face Loralai in the second match to be played from April 25-26 at the same venue. Sibi would meet Loralai in last match of the Region to be started on April 28.
Needless to mention here is that the tournament is being organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
