Civil Services Academy delegation visits HQ FC

QUETTA(PPI): Frontier Corps is deployed for monitoring vast borders of the province, security of national installations, stopping gun running and narcotics smuggling and security to life and property of people. It stands shoulder to shoulder to every grief and sorrow of the people in every difficult time. It is natural calamity floods, earthquake, incident of terrorism FC has always taken timely action and ensure security to life and property of people and gave its blood for eliminating terrorists.
This was stated in a briefing to 20 member delegation of Civil Services Academy officers which visited headquarters of Frontier corps Balochistan here Wednesday.
During question answer session IG FC Major General Sher Afgun highlighting objective of officers training said it plays important role in increasing capability of officers, improving operational and administration matters at the lower levels.
Answering a question eh said Balochistan is rich in natural resources. So far nearly 40 precious underground reserves have been discovered in the province which are enough to meet country?s requirements from 50 to 100 years. For this reason he added some foreign forces were keeping greedy eyes on Balochistan and have made it hub of conspiracies. Unseen forces are at work to spread lawlessness and instability in league with inimical forces by following foreign agenda so that people fo Pakistan may not benefit from these resources. But FC Balochistan has spared no effortin rooting out terrorism and lawlessness challenges.
Stressing upon officers IG FC said Civil Services Academy is one of the most known organisations of Pakistan. There is need its officers not only elimination poverty, terrorism and extremism by evolving people friendly policies though their professional competence and true dedication and provided opportunities of prosperity and progress through good governance
