PEC-Cantt Board elections

QUETTA(PPI): Arrangements have been finalized for holding Cantonment Board elections which would be held on April 25 according to schedule. Polling would be held from 8 am till 5 pm without any break. Ballot papers and election material has been provided to concerning returning officers.
This was stated by provincial election Commissioner Balochistan Syed Sultan Bazeed here Wednesday.
He said there will be ban on voters on carrying mobile phones in the polling area but Presiding Officers and polling staff would bee exempted.
Polls were to be held in three cantonments in Balochistan including Quetta, Loralai and Zhob. Candidates have already returned d unopposed in Zhob.
In Quetta and Loralai 27 thousand voters would exercise their right of franchise for five wards in Quetta and two wards in Loralai.
He said security arrangements have been made for security of voters, candidates and polling staff. He expressed the hope that voters would cast their votes without any fear.
