UoB organizes awareness walk of Book Day

QUETTA Apr 23 (PPI): Awareness walk on Book day carries great significance because books are very important segment of our society.
These views were expressed by Vice Chancellor University of Balochistan Dr Javaid Iqbal while addressing a walk at the University premises here Thursday.
Walk war organized by Library and Information Science Department of the University. It started from Science Faculty and ended at new block. Dr Munazza, Abid Shah Abid, Shah Muhammad Marri, Dr Mudassar Asrar, Major Asif Mengal, Registrar Tariq Jogezai, large number of girl and boys besides others participated.
Dr Javaid Iqbal said nations and societies loving books were progressing. He said University was striving to promote book atmosphere. Girl and boys scholars were being provided libraries and modern lab.
Dr Abid Shah Abid in his speech said thought promote with learning andit is found from books. If books are removed from Universities, libraries, colleges and houses the e is nothing but empty minds. Today?s educational institutions are because of books. If we acquire knowledge we would respect books and most respectable of books is Holy Quran. It highlights all aspects of life.
Shah Muhammad Marri said ishq difficult thing. If book is made lover it looks good because books compels one to ask question and make thoughts and thing which forces one to think is called ashraful makhlooqat and this has been given to us human beings.
Dr Munaza, Muhammad Nassem Nassar, Major Asif Mengal and others in their speeches highlighted importance of books.
