HQ City Report

QUETTA: The Quetta city administration has started crackdown against the private hospitals having no parking spaces.
In this regard, three private hospitals operating on Patel road were sealed. The Deputy Mayor Quetta Metropolitan Corporation, Muhammad Younas Baloch along with Deputy Commissioner, Dawood Khan Khilji and Assistant Commissioner Quetta city, Tariq Mengal supervised the campaign against the encroachments and the hospitals and commercial buildings having no parking lots in the metropolis.
Meanwhile, talking to the media, the Deputy Mayor QMC said that all the private hospitals operating in the metropolis had been issued notice one month back to make arrangements for the parking nearby. Some hospitals followed the instructions in this regard and arranged parking for them. However, some did not do so, so action has been started against them now, Younas Baloch maintained.
He also said that the traffic congestion is causing disruption of the traffic and thus problems to dwellers in the city. So, in view of the emerging traffic issues, it had become unavoidable to take action against the encroachments as well as those hospitals and commercial buildings having no parking spaces.
