QUETTA: The Member Provincial Assembly, Santosh Kumar has appreciated posting of Justice (Retd) Mehta Kailash Nath Kohli as Chairman Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC).
With appointment of the retired Justice as Chairman BPSC, the recruitments would be made on merit through the Public Service Commission on one hand and on the other hand it would help remove the sense of deprivation prevailing among the minorities in the province, hoped the Minority’s MPA in a statement issued here the other day.
He said that positive steps are being taken by the provincial government to improve law and order situation as well as resolve the issue of unemployment.
The posting of Justice (Retd) Mehta Kailash Nath Kohli seconds such initiatives of the government, he maintained.
Santosh particularly praised the Chief Minister, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, who seems to be very interested in this regard.
The Chief Minister’s initiatives for solution of the issues are praiseworthy, he commended.
Moreover, the steps being taken for well being of minorities living in the province would have far reaching impacts.
He said that the manner the provincial government and particularly Chief Minister has reposed confidence in him (Justice Kohli), he would come upto the expectations.
The Minority’s MPA on the occasion mentioned that the former Justice always made judgments on merit as a Judge of Balochistan High Court.
He would continue to perform in the same manner serving the province and its people, Santosh Kumar maintained.
He believed that Justice (Retd) Kohli would ensure on-merit recruitments of the able and competent officers while serving as Chairman of BPSC.
