QUETTA: The annual flower arrangement and poster making competitions were organized at the Government Girls Degree College Quarry Road here.
The Secretary Colleges and Higher and Technical Education, Ghulam Muhammad Sabir was the chief guest. Also attended the ceremony organized was by the Joint Director of Colleges, Ms. Rubaba Hameed Durrani and Principals of different other colleges.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest appreciated the healthy activity in the college and remarked that such activities are vital for mental grooming of the young students.
He assured to resolve the issues being faced by the college. He hoped that similar activities would remain continued in future as well.
Meanwhile, he distributed prizes among the position winning students.
Other guests also praised the standard of the competitions.
Needless to mention here is that the teachers, students and other staff of the college took wholehearted part in both the competitions.
