QUETTA: The Secretary Secondary Education, Abdul Saboor Khan Kakar has stated that the provincial government is making steady efforts to make the education sector more effective all over the province.
As per an official hand out issued here, the Secretary Secondary Education said that crackdown has been launched against absenteeism in the education sector at a large scale, and that against particularly the teachers and other staff.
Several teachers were found absent during visit of different schools of Musa khail by the Deputy Secretary Judicial and District Education Officer. The absent teachers and the administrative staff have been placed under suspension taking action against them, on report of the senior high ups.
The salaries of the absentee staff have also been stopped, the Secretary mentioned.
Moreover, further departmental action is also being taken against them, he maintained.
Abdul Saboor Kakar stressed that presence of the teachers in their respective class rooms is essential to continue academic activities in the schools.
The teachers and administrative staff remaining absent from their duties would not be spared at all, Kakar asserted.
He said that revolutionary steps are being ensured in the secondary education department in order to bring about improvement in education sector.
The academic activities have been restored in closed schools of the province on one hand, the teachers and other staff have been made bound to remain present at their respective duty places, the Secretary said.
