BUITEMS Sports Olympiad starts

Youth particularly girl and boy student should take part in extracurricular activities besides studies for the formation of a healthy society.
This was stated by Vice chancellor Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Science (BUITEMS) Engineer Ahmed Farooq Bazai while addressing inaugural ceremony of second Sports Olympiad 2015 organised by BUITEMS here Thursday.
BUITEMS Registrar Jamal Mustafa, Deans, directors, girl and boy students were present.
Durign Sports Olympiad football, cricket, volleyball, table tennis, Badminton, marathon, tug of war and other sports have been included. Sports Olympiad would continue till June 8, 2015.
VC said Balochistan has the honour there is no dearth of talent here. What is needed is they should be provided appropriate opportunities for expression of their talent and their possible patronage. He said BUITEMS maintaining its unique status in teaching would also guide and patron such talents players who not only would brighten name of Balochistan but country as well.
He congratulated organizers and players for holding second Sports Olympiad and hoped that BUITEMS players would demonstrate better performance for the promotion.
