QUETTA: The Mayor of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC), Dr. Kalimullah Khan has categorically stated that it is our mission to serve the masses, and as such we would continue to wage struggle in this regard.
This, he stated while talking to shopkeepers and other traders during his visit to different areas of the metropolis the other day.
Also accompanied with him were the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Javed Ahmed, Special Magistrate, Umar Achakzai, besides other officers of the Metropolitan.
The Mayor maintained that it is our earnest desire and effort to provide all the necessary civic facilities to the masses at their doorstep.
He stressed that it is need of the hour to work together for the cause of public service. He was confident that we would succeed in our mission.
Dr. Kalimullah Khan insisted that we have to strive together for development of the city resolving the problems being faced by it. He said that it is our collective responsibility to keep the city clean and make it beautiful. In this regard, all the encroachments would have to be removed, he stressed further.
The Mayor on the occasion discussed with the traders their issues.
He urged the traders to cooperate with the Corporation in removal of encroachments from the city area.
The local traders also informed the Mayor about the issues being faced by them. They also assured their every possible cooperation to the city Metropolitan chief.
