BC playing effective role in maintaining law and order

QUETTA: The Commandant Balochistan Constabulary (BC), Khalid Mehmood has said that the BC in collaboration with other law enforcement agencies (LEAs) has been playing an effective role for maintaining law and order situation in the province.
This, he stated while addressing the ceremony of putting ranks to some 83 officers and other personnel promoted from Head constable to Assistant Sub-Inspectors, Assistant Sub-Inspectors to Sub-Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors to Inspectors, here the other day.
The Deputy Commandant of BC, Azmatullah Gondal, Senior Superintendent of Police Headquarter, BC, Abdul Wahab, Zonal Commander Shaban Ali, Zonal Commander RRG, Arbab Muhammad Amjad, Wing Commander Headquarter, Muhammad Luqman Kasi and others were also present on the occasion.
The Commandant BC said that the cases of promotions in the Constabulary were long awaited despite passage from different phases, however, the process has been started now on directives of the Inspector General of Police, Muhammad Amlish.
While the process has been started for giving promotion to the deserving officers and personnel of the Balochistan Constabulary, the cases of other eligible ones are also ready and they would also get promotions in due course of time, the Commandant mentioned.
He expressed the hope that they would leave no stone unturned in discharging their responsibilities well.
