Zakir Hussain, Ali Kurd, Dr. Kahoor promoted as Secretaries in BS-20

QUETTA: The Balochistan Secretariat Service (BSS) officers, Zakir Hussain, Dr. Kahoor Khan Baloch and Ali Kurd Gul, all serving in the BS-19 have been given promotion as Secretary in BS-20 on permanent basis.
This was announced in an official notification issued here by the Balochistan government on Thursday.
According to the notification, the promotion has been given on recommendation of the Provincial Selection Board and approval of the competent authority.
Earlier, the officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), Akbar Hussain Durrain and officer of Balochistan Secretariat Service (BSS), Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani have been promoted in the Grade-21 from Grade-20.
This was announced in two separate official notification issued here.
Akbar Hussain Durrani is serving as the Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs department, Government of Balochistan while Mushtaq Raisani is acting as the Secretary Finance department, Government of Balochistan.
Both the officers would continue to serve against their existing posts.
Meanwhile, the official notifications mentioned that they have assumed the charge of their posts in their next grades.
Meanwhile, the superintendents serving in the department of Religious Affairs, Inter-Provincial Coordination, Government of Balochistan, Sona Khan son of Fayyaz Muhammad, Shoaib Ahmed so on Muhammad Sulaiman and Ahsan Ali son of Syed Muhammad Shah (BS-16) have been promoted as the District Zakat Officer (BS-17).
They have been granted promotion on permanent basis with effect from May 20, 2015.
