Ration bags distributed among 50 deserving families of Quetta

QUETTA: The ration bags were distributed among 50 poor families of Quetta by the Chairman Zakat Committee Quetta, Zainul Abidin Khilji here.
The ration bags distributed on self help basis by the Chairman Zakat Committee were included different edibles, flour, ghee, rice, sugar, pulses and other items.
Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Zainul Abidin said that the ration is distributed ever year on self help basis, and so being done now, he added.
He said that it is equally responsibility of the philanthropists to help the needy and poor financially particularly ahead of the Eid so that they are also included in its joys.
He said that poor segment of the society is deprived of the joys of Eid just because of poverty and lack of resources. So, in addition to the government, the rich people should also come forward to help them, he stressed.
Meanwhile, ration, Eid clothes and cash amount were also distributed among the deserving blind persons by the Pakistan Association of Blind (PAB) Balochistan Chapter here the other day.
The distribution was made in connection with the holy month of Ramadanul Mubarak.
The social worker Muhammad Noman was the chief guest, who distributed the things among the blind persons.
He appreciated performance of the Association for the cause of blind persons and also assured his wholehearted cooperation to it in its functioning.
The Provincial President of PAB Qari Sakhi Muhammad thanked the guests for their participation in the ceremony.
