Transport Dept. issues notification of cut in transport fares

QUETTA: The Provincial Transport Department has issued the notification regarding reduction in transport fares in the province.
It may be mentioned here that the Minister Transport, Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhail had announced to reduce the transport fares by 10 percent, with cooperation of the transporters.
The decision to this effect was made in meeting of the Minister Transport with representatives of the transporters a couple of days back.
The Minister had announced to provide relief to the travelers on account of the transport fares on eve of Eidul Fitr.
He said that the reduction in transport fares is a Eid Relief Package for the passengers. The Minister also termed it a gift for them on eve of Eidul Fitr when a lot of people travel on different routes to reach their respective destinations for celebration of Eid with their beloved ones.
The reduction in transport fares would be applicable from 27th Ramadanul Mubarak.
All the transports would be made bound to follow the reduction in fares.
