Mehfil-e-Shabina begins in Jamia Masjid Syedul Mursaleen today

QUETTA: The three-day Mehfil-e-Shabina is scheduled to begin today (Wednesday) at Jamia Masjid Syedul Mursaleen Dairy Farm Quetta cantonment.
The arrangements of the Mehfil-e-Shabina had already been finalized. The Qaris selected through a selection committee would recite Holy Qura’an.
Strict security measures would be adopted on occasion of the Mehfil-e-Shabina as was also decided in a meeting held last week.
In this regard, walk through gates would be installed for participants in the Mehfil-e-Shabina.
Moreover, thorough body search of those participating in the Mehfil would also be made, it was decided further.
The schedule of electricity load shedding would be changed in the area besides making alternate arrangements in case of power shut down.
The staff of civil defence and other concerned departments including health would remain present to tackle any emergent situation.
The special lighting arrangements have also been made in the mosque on eve of the Mehfil-e-Shabina to give it a beautiful look.
