Police makes security arrangements for peace

QUETTA July 16 (PPI): Police have made different measures for end to terrorism and ensuring peace. These included establishing 20 barriers and deployment of 200 police personnel and installation of 83 CCTV cameras in entry and exit points of city as well as 100 banners for creating awareness among the citizens about terrorism and cooperation with police at different roads and sites inscribed with slogans.
Besides call facility has been arranged at 1135 to inform Central Command and Control for any information.
With meager resources and manpower Balochistan police was rendering sacrifices for elimination of terrorism and lawlessness. However end of terrorism and lawlessness is impossible without cooperation f people.
In addition to meet any untoward incident at the commercial centres in Quetta and making the city safe 20 barriers have been erected in the city and 200 policemen have been deployed. Citizens have been requested to keep vigil round them and immediately inform Command and Control room at 1135. On receiving information police and concerned agencies will be present at the site within 7 minutes. Police patrolling has been increased in the city while Motorcycle Falcon patrol has also been commenced.
Five thousand police men from ATF, RRG, Balochistan Constabulary, Police and FC would also be posted for ensuring security during Eidul Fitr.
Walk through gates and metal detectors would be installed at the Eidgahs, Mosques on occasion of Jumatul Wida and Eidul Fitr prayers. Staff deployed there would also carry out body search of people.
