CS’s intervention in water crisis inspiring, says JUI-N leader

QUETTA: The leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Nazrayati (JUI-N) Syed Abdul Sattar Chishti has hailed the statement of Chief Secretary Balochistan regarding resolution of water issue in Quetta.
In a statement issued here, Chishti said that it is an encouraging that the Chief Secretary has intervened in the issue of water and hoped that it would be resolved now with his intervention.
He said that the people of Quetta city are suffering a lot due to the water crisis. However, the Chief Secretary has rightly stressed the need to resolve the issue so that the people may not suffer any more.
He said that the people would take a sigh of relief if the issue was resolved through involvement of the Chief Secretary.
It may be mentioned here that the Chief Secretary, Saifullah Chattha had called a meeting over the issue of water in Quetta.
He had directed to the concerned authorities to take immediate notice of the water crisis in the metropolis. He had also called for preparing a comprehensive plan in this regard.
