BBSA plans to launch Monsoon Tree Plantation drive 40,000 saplings to be planted all over Balochistan

QUETTA: The Balochistan Boy Scouts Association (BBSA) has planned to launch Monsoon Tree Plantation Campaign in the province during first week of August like every year.
According to an official hand out issued here, the BBSA would plant over 40,000 saplings during the campaign.
While it has been planned to plant some 4,000 saplings in Quetta, some 2,000 saplings would be planted in Kalat, 1500 saplings in Bolan, 2000 in Sibi, 1200 in Killa Saifullah, 700 in Musa Khail, 1500 in Panjgur, 2000 in Pishin, over 3,000 in Khuzdar. 500 in Jhal Magsi, 599 in Kohlu, 2000 in Zhob, 1500 Harnai, 700 in Killa Abdullah, 400 each in Washuk and Awaran and 2000 each in Naseerabad and Pishin.
Similarly, 1500 saplings would be planted in Ziarat, 1200 in Shirani, 400 in Gawadar, 1500 in Chaghai, 2000 each in Mastung, Jaffarabad, 1000 in Kech, 700 in Sohbatpur, 2500 in Lasbela, 1000 in Kech and 700 would be planted in Dera Bugti.
Moreover, all the district boy scouts associations have been directed to take wholehearted part in the tree plantation campaign being launched during the Monsoon in their respective districts making the campaign a great success.
All the district scouts organizers have been asked to obtain the saplings by contacting the concerned District Forest Officers.
The general public has also been appealed to cooperate in this regard fully so as to make the drive successful.
