Senate Committee for Human Rights arrives Quetta

QUETTA: The Senate’s Functional Committee for Human Rights arrived in the provincial metropolis on Sunday. Senator Ms. Nasreen Jalil is heading the Senate’s Committee.
Soon after its arrival, the Committee visited Pishin the same day. The members of the committee met the bereaved family members of those killed in Mastung carnage a couple of months back.
According to the sources, the Committee would review the overall situation of human rights including the situation of missing persons, target killing and the matter of recovery of dead bodies from a collective grave in the province.
The committee led by its Chairman, Ms. Nasreen Jalil would also be holding meeting with the politicians from the province during its visit to Quetta.
Moreover, the committee would also meet the families of the victims of terrorism and other law and order in the province.
