QUETTA: A condolence meeting of Zamindar Action Committee was held with Agha Taj Muhammad in the chair the other day.
Those who attended the meeting were included: Agha Lal Jan Ahmedzai, Abdul Rehman Bazai, Wali Muhammad, Abdul Aziz Sarparah, Sher Ali and others.
As per a press release, the participants discussed the tragic incident of Kalat which claimed lives of two zamindars and left several injured.
They charged that the zamindars suffered due to the alleged negligence of QESCO. It was stated in the meeting that the zamindars ended their protest on assurance of the Provincial Minister, Sardar Aslam Bizenjo.
It was mentioned that a 21-member committee has been formed under leadership of Agha Lal Jan. The committee would submit its report by July 30, 2015.
This report would be submitted to the Chief Minister later, it was further mentioned.
