Government's 100-day performance unprecedented: Pervaiz

RAWALPINDI September 14 (Online): Information Minister Pervez Rashid has said that the government believes in negotiations for the resolution of terrorism and Balochistan issues.
Addressing a function at Anjuman Faizul Islam in Rawalpindi on Saturday‚ he said that the government will make Pakistan a strong and a peaceful country by pursuing the policy of negotiations.
Later‚ talking to the media‚ the Information Minister said that the PML-N government is committed to eradicate the menace of terrorism and restore peace in Karachi besides overcoming the energy crisis.
He said that the PML-N government has accepted these issues as a challenge and is making all out efforts to resolve these issues on war footing.
He said that the previous governments could not dare even to touch these issues.
Pervaiz Rashid said that the government will implement Supreme Court directions on the appointment of Chairman National Accountability Bureau. He said that Prime Minister has directed Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to contact opposition leader Khurshid Shah in this regard.
He said that the 100-day performance of the incumbent government is unprecedented.
In reply to a question‚ the Minister said that those involved in the rape of five-year minor girl in Lahore will be taken to task as the track record of PML-N government is self explanatory.
