2 killed, 4 hurt as Afghan army fires mortar shells into Pakistan

Miranshah, Sept 24 (Online): Afghan forces on Tuesday fired 6 mortar shells that landed deep inside Pakistan’s South Waziristan Agency, killed two persons and hurt four others, security sources said.

Afghan National Army fired six mortar shells on civilians at Bangi-Dar area of tehsil Ghulam Khan (last Pakistani town on border with Afghanistan).

Two persons killed and four others wounded as a mortal shell hit a house at border town.

Last week on September 18, Afghan army on vehicles penetrated inside Pakistan’s territory in Balochistan and killed 5 Pakistani nationals.

Pakistan has been lodging “protest” with the Afghan government through military and other channels.

Ghulam Khan has been hit regularly by the NATO and Afghan forces, which remain in the hot pursuit of fleeing Taliban.”
