Iranian CG meets Governor

QUETTA Oct 14 (PPI): Gwadar and Chah Bahar Ports are our own ports and development of two would be helpful for each other.
We have long close brotherly relations with Iran but there is dire need for expanding cooperation in different fields between two countries.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai while speaking to Iranian Consul General based at Quetta Syed Muhammad Hussain Yahyavi at Governor House here Wednesday.
At their meetings situation in the area and bilateral matters were also exchanged.
Governor expressed satisfaction that present provincial government’s efforts and effective measures have led to a great success for secure journey of Zaireen to Iran.
Appreciating performance of Joint border Commission Governor said there is need for further expansion and improvement in it.
About Gwadar Port Governor said that such a strategy has been evolved to fully benefit from this water course in which not only create a revolution in Gwadar and Pakistan but it would also affect economic life of other areas as well.
He also expressed heartfelt grief and condolence for killing of Iranian citizens in Mina incident.
Iranian Consul General appreciated measures adopted for security of Zaireen for Iran. He also called for need for enhancing cooperation in different sectors between two countries he said Iran was ready to overcome energy crisis in Balochistan and other parts of Pakistan and in efforts for making Quetta Model city.
Governor Achakzai lauded good will gesture by Iran and called for further stabilizing brotherly relations between two countries.
