Sections of Fisheries and Agriculture to be opened in VTCs: Secretary Labour

QUETTA: The provincial government has given the fisheries and agriculture sectors the status of industry in the province.
This was stated by the Secretary Labour and Manpower, Hamidul Karim while visiting Vocational Training Center (VTC) Gwadar the other day.
It may be mentioned here that the Secretary Labour and Manpower is visiting different technical centers established in the province on special directives of the Chief Minister, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and as such his visit to the VTC Gwadar was part of the same process.
During the visit, the Secretary Labour and Manpower met the students and instructors of the VTC Gwadar.
He also had an interaction with them over the technical training progammes being conducted for the students.
The Secretary also inquired about the issues being faced by the VTC and assured to play his part to address them.
The issues being faced by the Center would be resolved, he assured. He also mentioned that the provincial government is taking every possible steps to promote technical education in the province.
The fisheries and agriculture sections would also be opened soon in the Vocational Training Centers being operated in different parts of the province, maintaining he assured.
During the visit of VTC, he expressed his dismay over absence of its staff. He warned that stern action would be taken against them.
He directed to all the concerned to ensure attendance of staff at the VTC, otherwise no one would be spared.
