CM-Turbat City Development Project, Master plan

TURBAT (PPI): Collective development projects are priority of our government so that people are benefited most of these development schemes while better standard and long lasting of these projects is also included in our priorities.
These views were expressed by Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch while addressing a detailed briefing on Turbat City Development project and 5-year Master Plan here Saturday.
Project Director and Commissioner Mekran Division Bashir Ahmed Bangulzai and Deputy Project director Rafiq Ahmed briefed the Chief Minister. They said that a comprehensive master plan has been prepared for providing modern facilities for Turbat City such as widening of roads along with foot paths, sewerage, building flood water nullahs, street lights, planting flowers and trees on both sides fo roads, building memorials along chowks in bazaars, construction of Divisional Office Complex for bring all the government departments under one roof, new Levies Headquarters, provision of modern facilities at bus addah, entry gates for entry into the city, land scanning of football and cricket grounds, building Dc House, and renovation of mosques. Master plan would cost rupees 5146.151 million. Initially work on wideningiof5 roads was undertaken I Turbat Bazar during May 2014.
Chief Minister was informed that divisional headquarters complex would house offices of Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and other government offices would also include District Council and Municipal Corporation would start soon involving an outlay of Rupees 500 million.
He was told that so far only Rupees 451.8 million have been spent on the roads and other projects. These expenditures have been made on payment for private lands, structure demolished, shifting of PTCL, QESCO, Public health institutions installations and services to alternative places, salaries of project employees and transport. The impression that Rupees 2.5 billion have been spent on the project so far. They verify expenses so far made.
Chief Minister expressed satisfaction over standard and pace of work on the project and directed that these projects should be completed in time.
