Bar Council elections: Professional Panel wins three out of seven seats

QUETTA: The Professional Panel of lawyers won three out of seven seats of Balochistan Bar Council (BBC) in the province.
Two of the seats were secured by the Shakeel Panel and one each by the Wukala Panel and an independent candidate.
The elections for seven seats of the BBC from Balochistan were held on Saturday.
As per the results, Baz Muhammad Kakar of the Professional panel obtained 350 votes. Shah Muhammad Jatoi of Wukala Panel remained on second position while Dawood Kasi and Syed Qahir Shah of Shakeel Panel remained third and fourth respectively from Quetta.
Similarly, from Sibi, Naseerabad Region, Rahab Khan Buledi of the Professional Panel won while Munir Ahmed Kakar of the same Panel won from Zhob and Pishin Region.
The independent candidate, Mustafa Ayub won the seat from Mekran Region.
