Balochistan Education Policy on the cards, says Advisor

QUETTA: The Advisor to Chief Minister for Education, Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech has announced that the Balochistan Education Policy was being devised in view of the modern day requirements and local conditions of the province.
This was announced by the Advisor for Education while addressing a seminar on the Education Policy here the other day.
The participants reviewed the proposed Balochistan Education Policy and National Education Policy 2009 in detail.
The Education Policy being devised would surely help improve the standard of education besides promoting overall literacy in the province, maintained Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech.
He said that education plays basic role in development, so we have to concentrate on it. That’s why, we are focusing and taking steps for promotion and development of education in the province, Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech maintained.
He said that although the provincial government is serious in spreading the light of knowledge all over the province, particularly in remote areas, but the resources constraints are the issue. Therefore, we need cooperation of the international and national non-governmental organizations to carry on our education about education, he stressed.
The Advisor for Education further mentioned that certain steps have been taken to develop education on sound lines.
He expressed the hope that the things would improve with regard to education in time to come.
