No compromise to be made on rights of people: Babat

QUETTA: There is government of people in the province, as such no compromise would be made on their rights.
This and similar views were expressed by the central Deputy Secretary of Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) and Advisor to Chief Minister for Forests, Wildlife and Environment, Ubaidullah Jan Babat while addressing a gathering in Killi Mura Tangi the other day. A number of people from various religious and political parties announced to join PkMAP after resigning from their respective parties.
Mr. Babat maintained that it is because of our policies and performance that large number of people are joining our party.
He said that while we are endeavoring to resolve the issues being faced by the people and develop the backward areas, a few elements are making false propaganda against us. However, people should not pay heed to the propaganda as our performance is open to everyone, he added.
He also said that presently it is the peoples’ government in the province, so they should own it and support it, he maintained.
He said that we are accountable to the people of the province. He claimed that the coalition government is doing every thing on merit.
Also present on the occasion were the district Secretary of PkMAP, Akhtar Shah, Chairman District Council, Shams Hamzazai, Chairman Municipal Committee, Naimat Jalalzai, Deputy Chairman, Sardar Jaffar Khan Utmankhail, Dad Khan Alizai, Abdul Hadi and Naimat Shabozai and others.
They also addressed the gathering.
They said that the PkMAP is waging struggle for development of the areas besides resolving the issues faced by the common men.
They said that the people can’t be befooled any more through the negative propaganda.
