QUETTA Oct 28 (PPI): Frontier Corps was discharging its basic responsibility of defending country’s borders with Iran and Afghanistan, checking gun running and drug smuggling, assisting provincial government in maintaining peace and order , security of national installations development projects.
This information was given to National Institute of Management Karachi delegation at a briefing during its visit to Headquarters Frontier Corps Balochistan here Wednesday.
Moreover under good will gesture FC was also rendering valuable services in education, health and people’s welfare. Its 23 schools and 7 colleges along with their hostels were equipping children with education in far-flung areas of the province. Besides it has also been in the forefront during natural calamities such as earthquake and floods.
Speaking on the occasion Inspector General Frontier Corps major General Sher Afgun said that Pak-China economic Corridor would one up new vistas of progress and prosperity. People’s confidence in security forces is our success. He reiterated his that FC Balochistan with the cooperation of people would spare no sacrifice for making the province peaceful and exemplary.
