JIT formed to probe into killings of Mir Gul Khan, 6 others

QUETTA: The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has been formed to probe into the killing of seven persons including a tribal leader in a bomb blast occurred in Marwar area a couple of days back.
The sources said that the Deputy Commissioner Quetta would head the JIT. The Chief Minister Balochistan, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch had taken serious notice of the killing of the tribal leader, Mir Gul Khan Marri and six other tribals in the Marwar bomb explosion on Thursday last.
He had also announced to form JIT to investigate into the deadly bomb explosion.
Mir Gul Khan Marri and six others were on their way in their vehicles when they struck a landmine laid in the Marwar area killing them.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs, Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti has categorically stated that the attack on the tribal leader Mir Gul Khan Marri is just attack on the spirit of patriotism.
In a strong condemnation, the Minister Home said that Mi Gul Khan was a patriotic person, who always struggled to raise the flag of Pakistan in the province. That’s why the enemies were behind him, he maintained.
However, his blood would always be remembered in the history, Mir Sarfraz Bugti said adding that we would continue to wage struggle for establishing peace in the province besides playing our role in development of the country.
He said that the sacrifice rendered by Mir Gul Khan and his companions has created a new spirit of patriotism in our hearts.
He also pledged to mobilize all available resources for elimination of the elements involved in the incident of terrorism.
