QMC’s drive against encroachments continues

QUETTA:Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC) launched crackdown against encroachments on the Quetta Airport Road the other day.
The crackdown was launched on directives of the Deputy Mayor of QMC, Muhammad Younas Baloch. The encroachments were removed established on the Airport road.
The Incharge of anti-Encroachment Cell, Muhammad Aslam and Municipal Magistrate Akhtar Muhammad supervised the anti-encroachment drive.
Meanwhile, the team warned the shopkeepers and other traders not to establish encroachments on the roads otherwise stern action would be taken against them.
They urged them to remove the encroachments voluntarily.
If the encroachments were not removed then the shops and other outlets may be demolished, they warned further.
Meanwhile, similar campaign has also been started in Pishin city.
The Special Magistrate Pishin, Sardar Abdullah Khan Urodzai supervised the campaign against the encroachments and profiteering in the city of Pishin.
Several encroachments were removed in main parts of the city.
While the encroachments were removed, the expiry and poor quality items were also impounded during the crackdown.
The Special Magistrate also took notice of the profiteering and warned that those involved in that practice would be taken to task.
No one would be allowed to fleece the consumers, he declared. He also vowed that the traditional beauty of Pishin city would be restored.
Moreover, the action would also be taken against the fake and poor quality drugs in Pishin.
He noted with concern over the rush of encroachments in the city area.
We would not be allowing anyone to violate the directives of Pishin administration in this regard. He stressed that the shopkeepers would have to follow the official price list.
