Issue of low pressure of Sui gas to be resolved, GM assures to Quetta parliamentarian

QUETTA: Member Provincial Assembly, Tahir Mehmood Khan visited the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) office and had a meeting with its General Manager, Agha Muhammad Baloch and Chief Engineer, Muhammad Anwar Nasser.
During the meeting, Tahir Mehmood Khan raised the issue of low gas pressure in different parts of the city apprising the problems and hardships being faced by the people.
The SSGC’s General Manager on the occasion mentioned that the issue of low gas pressure exists due to the affected gas pipeline coming from Zarghoon Gas Field.
However, the company is working on the issue of low gas pressure. It would be able to resolve the issue soon, adding the GM SSGC assured.
After meeting with the GM SSGC, Tahir Mehmood Khan said that the SSGC high management has given assurance to take prompt steps for resolving the issue of low gas pressure.
He said that the gas pipelines would be laid from Bacha Khan chowk to Abdul Sattar road in order to resolve the issues of the Sui gas particularly when the cold is gripping the city.
Needless to mention here is that the people from various parts of the city including those belonging to main city were complaining about the low gas pressure with advent of winter season in metropolis.
