BUITEMS triumphant in Winter Sports Gala Basketball

QUETTA: The Winter Sports Festival basketball match was played at the sports complex of Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) here on Tuesday.
The BUITEMS team defeated the Al-Hamd Islamic University in a well fought match.
General Officer Commanding (GOC) Major General Aftab Ahmed was the chief guest. Also present on the occasion was the Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS, Engineer Ahmed Farooq Bazai (Sitara-e-Imtiaz), Secretary Youth Affairs and Sports, Shoaib Ahmed Gola, Brigade Commander, Brigadier Waqar, Registrar of BUITEMS, Jamal Mustafa and other senior faculty and students of different universities including BUITEMS.
In the end, the GOC Major General Aftab and Vice Chancellor, Ahmed Farooq Bazai distributed prizes and medals among the winner and runners-up teams.
It may be mentioned here that the Winter Sports Festival is being organized by the Balochistan government sports department in collaboration with the Pak Army.
Different sports competitions are being held under umbrella of the Winter Sports Festival in Quetta.
