Gwadar to have largest airport

GWADAR (PPI): China will build Gwadar International Airport at a cost of Rupees 22.247 billion. It would be Pakistan’s largest airport sprawling over 4300 acres of land. It would be built according to international standards.
This was stated by Project Director Syed Habib Ahmed at a meeting held here Wednesday.
Balochistan Chief Minster Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, federal ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Kamran Michael, Vice Chairman China Planning Commission Wan Gein Kao, Chinese, federal and provincial officials attended the meeting.
Meeting also reviewed development projects of Pak-China Economic Corridor.
Agreement was also signed for international school to be built with Chinese grant in Gwadar.
