BISP specialist visits Quetta Regional Office

QUETTA: The specialist of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Islamabad, Ms. Saima Aziz visited the Regional Office of the Programme here the other day.
She attended a meeting there and had an interaction with the beneficiaries of the Programme. Different issues related to the financial assistance to the deserving people were discussed.
The Director General BISP Balochistan, Abdul Rauf Khan and other concerned officers were also present.
The future course of action and proposed survey of the BISP was also discussed during the meeting. The BISP Islamabad representative got herself acquainted about the issues of the beneficiaries.
She said that the committees of the beneficiaries would be formed to resolve the related issues.
Talking to the beneficiaries of the BISP, DG urged them not to pay any amount to the banks or Pakistan Post offices.
He also appealed to the general public to not pay any heed towards any fraudulent message through SMS regarding any “good news” about the amount of Rs. 25,200.
Ms. Saima Aziz asked the councilors, social and political activists to get the list of deserving persons from BISP office and send the same to them so as to pay them Rs. 1500 monthly after preparation of their cards.
