Governor calls to Vice Chancellor of Bacha Khan University

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan, Muhammad Khan Achakzai has categorically stated that the attack on the students and teachers of Bacha Khan University (BKU), Charsaddah is just like attack on the entire nation.
This, he stated while speaking to Vice Chancellor of the BKU, Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Marwat over telephone the other day.
The Governor Balochistan strongly condemned the attack on the BKU and told the Vice Chancellor of BKU that the entire nation shares the grief and sorrow of the bereaved families of those martyred in the act of terrorism.
Expressing his grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives of the teachers and students in the gruesome incident, the Governor Balochistan stressed that it is need of the hour to cope with the merciless enemies and terrorists with firm determination. He also said that the very objective could be achieved by forging unity among our ranks.
Muhammad Khan Achakzai also said that it is against the teachings of Islam to target the innocent students and educationists.
The elements involved in such incidents are just defaming the religion and the country through such barbaric crimes.
He said that all segments of the society would have to play their effective role foiling the nefarious designs of the terrorists.
The Governor on the occasion also prayed for the departed souls of the martyred of BKU and prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the act of terrorism.
It may be mentioned here that as many as 21 students, teachers and other staffers were martyred in the terrorist attack on the BKU, Charsaddah.
