Arrangements finalized for Matriculation examinations

QUETTA: The necessary arrangements have been finalized for the forthcoming annual examinations of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) / Matriculation in the province.
This was informed by the Chairman Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta, Professor Siraj Kakar while talking to the local media persons here.
According to the BISE Chairman, special arrangements have been made for prevention of the cheating and use of unfair means in the examinations.
Over 900 supervisory staff would be engaged in the examinations of Matriculation with over 250 senior Inspectors to perform monitoring responsibilities, he maintained.
Professor Siraj Kakar said that it is our endeavor to create and promote the tendency of competition among the students so that they may not only excel in the examinations but they may also enhance their capabilities.
He said that it would not only be ensured to eliminate cheating but also to discourage appearance of the fake candidates in the examinations.
Strict action would be taken against those involved in the cheating and those appearing in the examinations in place of others, he warned.
He called on the parents, teachers and the civil society to join hands with the BISE in its efforts against cheating in the examinations.
Secretary BISE, Professor Shaukat Sarparah also said that the necessary material has been made available in the examination centers.
He said that there would be complete ban on carrying of the mobile phones and other unnecessary items to the examination centers.
