Alleged criminal killed in encounter

(HQ): An alleged bandit on Saturday was shot dead during a police encounter in North Nazimabad of the city and police recovered weapon from his possession.
According to police, some robbers were looting motorcycle from a citizen, when a police rushed to the spot and a 35-years-old bandit was killed in shootout near Qalandaria Chowk in North Nazimabad while their other accomplices managed to flee from the scene.
However, police recovered arms from his possession. The body was moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.
