All set to begin annual SSC examinations starting today

QUETTA: As many as 1,07,413 candidates would appear in the annual examinations of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) / Matriculation 2016 for all the necessary preparations have been made by the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta.
According to the sources of the BISE Quetta, a total of 295 examination centers have been set up for the annual examinations of SSC starting from March 1, 2016 all over the province including Quetta simultaneously.
The examination staff comprising some 900 employees would be available to perform the exam duties in the centers, the sources maintained.
Moreover, the raiding teams comprising 200 staff members have also been formed to monitor the process of examinations.
The examination of Part-I (9th class) would be conducted in first phase starting from March 1, 2016 while the examination of Part-II (10th class) would be held in second phase commencing from March 12.
There would be two sessions in a day (morning and evening) in which the candidates would appear in the examination.
While the morning session is scheduled to start at 09:30 AM and would continue till 12:30 PM, the evening session would begin at 02:00 PM and would continue till 05:00 PM.
The Part-I examination would remain continued till March 11, the Part-II examination would conclude on March 24, 2016.
At termination of the theory, the practical examination would start for both the parts (9th and 10th classes).
The practical examination of the 9th class would start on March 11 and would remain continued till March 24, 2016.
While on the other hand, the practical examination of 10th class would commence from March 25, it would terminate on April 6, 2016.
Meanwhile, the candidates have been asked to always carry their original roll number slips. The same (slips) should not be submitted to the superintendent of examination at all, it has been directed to the candidates.
The roll number slips of all the candidates would be checked during the theory examination. However, the candidates would submit the photo state copy of their roll number slips with the superintendent of examination.
Moreover, all the candidates have been warned not to carry such material in the examination along with them, which may help in cheating. In case of violation, stern action would be taken.
