Examination Control Cell reports: No irregularity in SSC examinations from five divisions

Secretary Education visits various exam centers;
reviews arrangements made for elimination
of cheating and use of unfair means

QUETTA: No irregularity has been reported during the ongoing examinations of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) at the examination centers of the Quetta, Kalat, Sibi, Naseerabad and Makran divisions on March 7 and 8.
This was announced in a report released from the Examination Control Cell about the annual examination of the SSC for 2016, here the other day.
The report was submitted from the administration and education officers of the concerned districts. According to the report, the process of examination remained continued as per routine.
Meanwhile, the Secretary Education, Abdul Saboor Kakar paid surprise visit of different examination centers established in connection with the SSC / Matric examinations in Quetta city.
The Secretary reviewed the arrangements made for elimination of cheating and use of unfair means in the examinations.
He expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements made in this regard.
He was also satisfied with performance of the examination staff and said that the concrete measures taken for elimination of cheating are yielding positive results.
He expressed the government’s resolve to eliminate cheating from the examinations. However, he sought very cooperation of the teachers and parents in this regard. Their cooperation is essential for elimination of cheating in the exams, adding he stressed.
Abdul Saboor Kakar directed to the supervisory staff to maintain discipline and ensure implementation on the measures adopted for prevention of cheating.
He also directed to take stern action against any one found involved in cheating. No one should be spared in this regard, he directed.
Similarly, the Additional Secretary Education, Muhammad Hayat Kakar along with Secretary Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Professor Shaukat Sarparah also visited different examination centers.
The Additional Secretary applauding performance of the exam staff urged them not to make any compromise on discipline.
He also asked them to take stern action against those involved in cheating in the examinations.
The exam centers which were visited by him were included: Government Sabzal High School, Center No. 1, 2 and 3 as well as the Government Science College Center No. 1 and 2 and Islamia Model High School Center No. 1 and 2.
