KARACHI, April 05 (PPI): A gang of robbers looted almost Rs 8 million from a private bank located in Korangi area here on Tuesday.
According to sources, armed robbers entered the bank branch located in Korangi No 2.
After entering the bank, the robbers held the bank management and security guards hostage at gunpoint and started looting the cash. The robbers took away almost Rs8 million from the cash counter before fleeing.
Receiving information, a contingent of police and rangers reached the crime site and started the investigation after collected evidences.
