Balochistan businessmen invite Chinese investors

QUETTA apr 21 (PPI): Balochistan businessmen delegation currently visiting China has invited Chinese investors to take benefit from massive opportunities in the sectors of energy, mining, agriculture, industries, fisheries and others. Government, security institutions and chamber of commerce Quetta would provide them cooperation all the time.
Balochistan businessmen also invited Chinese investors of business partners.
This was stated by delegation leader hafiz Abdul Majid, President Chamber of commerce and industry Quetta Jamal Tarakai and Deputy Commisisoner Gwadar during their visit to China Economic Corporation Centre and addressing Balochistan Business dialogue and others.
Hafiz Abdul Majid said that their meeting with Chinese investors and programme has been very positive which would have far reaching impacts. We hope that soon Chinese investors in large numbers would come to Pakistan fir investment in fishery, mining, agriculture, energy and other sectors. He said we have clarified situation on Chinese investors about fishery, mining, agriculture, mining and other avenues for investment and government measures on law and order situation. He said cheese investors have also been apprised of six economic zones to be setup in Balochistan and told that what special concessions have been made at these zones for them.
He said Chinese investors have interest in investment in energy, construction, grading, finishing and processing of fruits and others and they have expressed this.
Jamal Tarakai said that we are always ready for partnership with Chinese investors in Balochistan. There are massive opportunities for investment in solar energy, hydle power and processing, grading, finishing of fruits, mining, industries and other sectors because Balochistan is called as fruit basket of Pakistan and fruits and vegetables produced here have no match. There is need that fruits processing, grading and finishing plants should be installed. He said coal, chromite, raw iron, gold, copper, onyx, granite, lead, zinc and other minerals are found in Balochistan and by setting up their plant precious foreign exchange can also be earned.
He called upon Chinese officials to immediately setup 300 mega watts electricity power house in Balochistan to help end energy crisis and people do not face difficulties.
