Dogs attack polio teams

TAMBOO Apr 25 (PPI): Dogs attacked polio workers in Dera Murad Jamali and Mir Hassan and bit two female workers. Dogs attack sent a wave of fear and panic among female polio workers.
According to details a polio team was engaged in feeding anti polio drops to children in Dera Murad Jamali East today. A dog suddenly bit a woman worker. Another similar incident occurred in Mir Hassan when a dog attacked polio team and bit another woman.
ON information Deputy Commissioner and others immediately shifted affected women to civil hospital where they were vaccinated against dog bite.
Another polio team was sent in the area for feeding polio drops to children after the incident.
