Council of CPSP decides to expand academic consultation

QUETTA Apr 28 (PPI): The Council of College of Physicians Surgeons Pakistan has decided to expand academic consultation.
The College Council under the leadership of Prof. Zafarullah Chaudhry decided to establish two advisory committees. The first advisory committee would be consisted on position holders doctors from across the country.
First two position holders of FCPS-I, IMM, and FCPS-II would be the members of advisory committee from all provinces of the country. The tenure of advisory committee would be one year and position holder doctors would be incorporated into the advisory committee. The second committee would be consisted of senior fellows and renowned persons of medical profession. This committee would advise the President CPSP on different issues and College council would frame future policies in consultation with this advisory committee.
The first meeting of both committees was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Zafarullah Chaudhry. The meeting was attended by Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, Senior Vice President, Prof. Naqibullah Achakzai, Vice President, Prof. Syed Khalid Ahmed Ashrafi, Treasurer, Prof. Muhammad Ashgar Butt and other office bearers & council members. Young positions holder doctors advisory committee meeting was attended by position holders from across the country.
The senior advisory committee meeting was attended by the most senior professor Nasiruddin Azam Khan as a special advisor. In addition to this, Prof. Abdullah Jan Jaffer from Balochistan, Prof. Rukhsana Zubairi, Prof. Adeeb Rizvi, Prof. Aftab Munir, Prof. Syed Mahmood, Prof. Shah Zaman, Prof. Ghulam Asghar Channa, Prof. Azhar Farooqui, Prof. Abdul Sattar Memon, Prof. Khalid Zafar Hashmi from Sindh, Prof. Attaullah , Prof. Abdul Samad from KP and Prof. Ijaz Ahsan, Ex-President, CPSP, Prof. Rakhshanda Rehman, Major. Gen. (Retd) Prof. Muhammad Aslam, Prof. Abdul Jalil Daula, Dr. Tariq Mahmood Mian and Dr. Abdul Qayyum Awan from Punjab.
The achievements of CPSP at national and international levels were highlighted in the meeting. The committee would form policies for making CPSP the best institution of the world.
