QUETTA Oct 10 (PPI): Society of Community Strengthening and Promotion of Education, Balochistan (SCSPEB) with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under the Small Grant Ambassador's Fund Program (SGAFP) is implementing a project with aim to foster a reading culture within 20 Government schools in Quetta & Suhbat Pur.

To achieve the aim SCSPEB with the support of USAID-SGAFP planned to organize inter school competitions for reading, speech, poster and sports (rope skipping and hulla hoop). These competition will help to foster reading habits and skills among children at primary level as well as support to enhanced the physical health, tolerance and friendly environment in primary level.

The second event kicked off on 29th of September 2016 at GGMS Killi Shabo, Cluster of 5 schools GGPS Akber Khan Kaizi No. 2,GGMS Adam Khan, GBPS FGS Colony, GGMS Labour Colony and GGMS Killi Shabo participated. The teachers and students were facilitated with the refreshments.

Managing Director SCSPEB Irfan Ahmed Awan and the Provincial Coordinator of UNESCO were the guests of honnor. Ms.Gul Bushra and Ms. Rasheeda from Education Department Alam Sumalani from SCSPEB judgged the competition. The prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners of competition. They also declared a milestone towards the creating the healthy attitude and as well as the reading culture in school.
