57 outlaws arrested

MULTAN, Sept 27 (APP): Police claimed on Friday to have
arrested 57 accused, including 18 proclaimed offenders
during a crackdown.
According to a press release issued here, police arrested
26 drug peddlers, including Muhammad Ikram, Ishaq, Imran, Muhammad Wajid,
Abid, Ikram, Muzaffar Mehmood, Javed Ali, Rizwan, Zafar Iqbal,
Shahid, Muhammad Ajmal, Mazhar Abass, Muhammad Atif, Riaz,
Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Akhtar, Saba, Muneeb, Fatima Shafiq,
Nadia alias Shumaila, Tehssen alias Nadia, Shakeela alias Saba,
Farhat alias Shumaila, Allah Ditta and Muhammad Akram.
Police also recovered 103 litre liquor, unearthed a
distillery and four kilogram opium.
Police also apprehended seven illegal arms holders,
including Binyameen, Allah Yar, Shafqat Hussain, Muhammad Ijaz,
Muhammad Imran, Bashir Ahmad and Imran and recovered five pistols,
a riffle and 35 rounds.
Separately, police arrested six gamblers- Muhammad
Yaqub, Shaukat, Jehangir, Sher Abas, Sartaj and Shahid and also
recovered stake money.
Police apprehended court and proclaimed offenders-
Amjad Rauf, Tanvir Ahmad, Muhammad Yasir, Rab Nawaz,
Rehan, Naseer Ahmad, Amanullah, Abid, Ramzan, Imran, Shafiq,
Mushtaq Ahmad, Fiaz, Mushtaq, Fida Hussain and Khuda Buksh.
